5A05 Aluminum sheet plate is an Al-Mg series anti-rust aluminum alloy, which cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, and the strength can be improved by cold deformation of the alloy, but reduce the plasticity. The magnesium content of 5A05 alloy is higher, and its strength is lower, which is similar to that of 5A03 alloy. The plasticity in the annealed temper is high, and the corrosion resistance of 5A05 alloy is good and acceptable. It is suitable for spot welding, atomic hydrogen welding, gas welding, and argon arc welding. Its machinability is poor in the annealed temper, but good in the semi-cold work hardened temper.

5A05 aluminum plate is usually used in the manufacture of pipes, welded oil tanks and other liquid containers, storage tanks, pressure vessels, and marine supplies that require high process plasticity, good corrosion resistance, and medium load; wire rods are used as welding rods and rivets, rivets anodizing is required.
1. Interleave paper or cover protective film on the aluminum plate to ensure that the surface of the aluminum plate is perfect without scratches;
2. Wrap it with plastic or kraft paper to prevent moisture and rain, and ensure that the aluminum plate is clean and free of dirt during transportation (each package has a moisture-proof desiccant);
3. Use wooden pallets with fumigation marks and reinforce them with steel belts to avoid collisions during transportation and ensure that the shape of the aluminum plate remains unchanged;
4. Pack according to customers’ requirements.
