Hydrophilic aluminum foil is to coat a layer of hydrophilic layer on the surface of aluminum foil. Hydrophilic aluminum foil is to carry out hydrophilic treatment on aluminum foil. The main aluminum foils for air conditioning are: 8006 hydrophilic aluminum foil, 8011 hydrophilic aluminum foil, 3102 hydrophilic aluminum foil, 1100 hydrophilic aluminum foil, etc.
Ordinary hydrophilic aluminum foil has serious defects. The biggest problem is that the condensed water generated during refrigeration will adhere to the aluminum foil and form a water bridge, causing blockage between fins, affecting ventilation, reducing heat exchange efficiency, and reducing the efficiency of the air conditioner, thus more power consumption.
Hydrophilicity is simply the size of the affinity between the surface of the aluminum foil and water, which is measured by the angle formed by water droplets on the surface of the aluminum foil. The angle of water droplets on the surface of ordinary aluminum foil is above 70 degrees, while the angle of water droplets on the surface of hydrophilic aluminum foil is below 35 degrees. Good hydrophilic fins can improve the heat exchange efficiency of the air conditioner heat exchanger, significantly save power consumption, and effectively reduce the fin spacing of the heat exchanger, thereby reducing the volume of the air conditioner, beautifying the appearance of the air conditioner, and improving the space utilization rate of the room for the household air conditioner.

The function of the coating: the coating can increase the hydrophilicity and corrosion resistance of the product.
For products with higher performance requirements, if the first coating fails to meet the due indicators, a second coating is required. Generally, single-coat hydrophilic aluminum foils have hydrophilic and corrosion-resistant functions; double-coated hydrophilic aluminum foil, the first coating is corrosion-resistant, and the second coating is hydrophilic.
Hydrophilic aluminum foil is the main raw material of heat exchange fins in air conditioners, and is widely used in refrigeration equipment such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and automotive air conditioners.
